Section 125 Plan Administration RFP

    Newport School District is requesting proposals for Section 125 Plan administration.  We invite qualified vendors to submit Proposals for Section 125.  Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. April 16, 2018, by the District Office, 1380 W. 5th Street, P.O. Box 70, Newport, Washington 99156.  

    Any questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Debra Buttrey, via email buttreydebra@newportgriz.com.  All inquiries must be submitted in an email by 2:00 P.M. PST on April 12, 2018.  Only emailed questions will be answered. 

    The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to award contracts for individual products or services as may appear advantageous, and to negotiate separately in any manner necessary to serve the best interest of the district. 

    Sealed proposals must be submitted to Debra Buttrey, Business Manager, Newport School District, P.O. Box 70, 1380 W. 5th Street, Newport, WA  99156.  Remember, all proposals are due by 2:00 P.M. April 16, 2018, no exceptions.  All proposals are valid for 90 days. 

    All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked, “Proposal for Section 125.”  The vendor name should also be clearly marked on the envelope. 

    The tentative date for the contract to be awarded is Monday, May 7, 2018.  The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in part or in total.  The District reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities.

     The specifications and scope of work referred are minimum so therefore unless otherwise indicated by the proposer, the District will assume proposals meet or exceed all specifications.

     The names of a certain brand, make or definite specifications are to denote quality standard of the article desired, but do not restrict proposers to the specific brand, make or manufacturer named; it is to set forth and convey to prospective proposers the general style, type, character and quality of the article desired.

    The District intends to award an annual contract, with three (3) one (1) year renewal opportunities.  The contract will be between Newport School District and the vendor awarded the contract.  There shall be NO third party involved in this contract.
